Leafcloud — Rebranding Concept (Unrealized)

The challenge

Leafcloud is a Dutch green cloud provider that uses the excess heat from servers and GPUs to warm nearby homes and buildings in their so-called “leaf sites.” They approached me to explore a rebranding and website concept that would help them appear more professional and attract bigger clients while staying true to their sustainable mission.

My role

I developed a new brand direction, including three iterations of the logo and a visual identity concept. The goal was to capture the balance between high-tech reliability and Leafcloud’s unique ecological proposition.

Positioning

Together we defined a clear message: “Big Cloud, Small Footprint.” This guided the brand exploration, highlighting how Leafcloud competes with major providers while offering a dramatically lower environmental impact.

The work

  • Logo explorations — Three directions, each expressing sustainability and innovation in different ways.

  • Visual identity — Colors, typography, and UI elements designed to communicate trust, professionalism, and green tech leadership.

  • Website concept — A professional, scalable design system tailored for enterprise-level clients.

Outcome

While this direction was ultimately not implemented, I’m proud of the work. It demonstrates my ability to translate a complex, technical proposition into a clear, engaging, and professional brand identity.
