Become a Language Boss
We had the pleasure of designing the visual identity and motion graphics for Taalbaas 2.0, a follow-up to the original Taalbaas initiative launched during the first COVID summer of 2020. Back then, the project connected young people with language experts (Taalbazen) through Zoom sessions, supported by a wide range of literacy organizations and professionals. The goal was to inspire participants to recognize the value of language skills—reading, writing, speaking, and listening—and to equip them with practical tips to improve these abilities.
For Taalbaas 2.0, we were tasked with taking the project to a broader audience. Our design approach shifted from the intimate, one-on-one feel of Zoom sessions to creating a bold and accessible identity for a series of four free, publicly available masterclasses. The challenge was to create a look and feel that would inspire young people to engage with language in their own way and at their own pace.
We developed a vibrant, playful motion design paired with a clean, modern visual identity that reflects the empowering nature of the program. The motion graphics are dynamic and engaging, designed to guide users through the masterclasses with ease while maintaining a professional yet approachable tone. Our goal was to make the journey of becoming a "Taalbaas" fun, accessible, and inspiring.
