Far Away Up Close

Far Away — Up Close

The organization behind Far Away – Up Close is Docking Station, which connects young creators (photographers) from both the Netherlands and abroad with professionals to help them advance their projects and careers. The COVID restrictions put an end to the regular program of a residency in Amsterdam. But… no blind panic; it was all hands on deck, and with a lot of love and some scrap paper, the online magazine Far Away – Up Close was born.

So far, two stories have been published. The creators of the story No Man is an Island — Emmie Kollau, Imre Ploeg, and Ryan Walker — were honored with the title Master Storytellers 2020.
